SLEX Farm Tours 2 to 6 - Small Acreage Farm Tours
Do you consider yourself a small acreage hobby farmer, or are you interested in becoming one?
The idea of having your own piece of land to grow food, raise animals or simply enjoy a little open space is appealing to many. But how do you know whether you are doing the right thing by the environment on your hobby farm?
As part of the SLEX 2009 farm tour series, Southern New England Landcare are pleased to present the Small Acreage Farm tours. You can join any or all of the tours which will visit five different sites addressing the following topics:
