The New England Sustainable Living Tour

The Armidale Waldorf School for Rudolf Steiner education and Boongaiai Preschool, organisers of The New England Sustainable Living Tour, are happy to once again collaborate and support the SLEX event.

Over the three days of SLEX, a tour will run each day to homes and properties in the local area which utilise and practice various aspects of sustainable living. Once again many generous and passionate people are happy to open their homes and properties for the wider community to show us how we can become more sustainable.

Participants will experience examples of solar passive design, solar energy, efficient heating and cooling installations, earth friendly building materials and finishes, waste management systems, sustainable gardening practises and more. During SLEX, tours will leave from the Armidale Creeklands.
